All About Gary Pantiskas

BIOGRAPHY

Gary F. Pantiskas believes that art is to be enjoyed by all. He likes to work to find the right combination of colors and light in subjects. Often his work reflects humor and laughter.

He was born into a U.S. military family stationed in Swindon, England and raised in, England, North Carolina, and California. Gary Pantiskas has resided for the past 19 years with his family in Pasadena, California

He began art projects as a child but went on to college and studied Business and Economics at the University of California at Davis.  Eventually he went on to complete his graduate studies at the University of San Francisco.  His love for art continued and flourished when he moved to Pasadena.  He has even attended several classes at the Art Center College of Design.

He is influenced by a number of California artists such as Earl Thollander, Henry Evans, Ruth Dicker, Wayne Thiebaud, and Don Birell and classical artists such as John Singer Sargent and Monet. 

Most of his original works are displayed in private collections.
